Eider: Cabin Top Deck Continued
January 21, 2012; 8:00 am – 11:30 am; day #50. Yesterday I spent 30 minutes adding a couple more coats of paint to the underside of the 1st 1/4″ ply cabin topdeck. By painting the undersides before fitting them, your interior is nearly complete. Today I fit the first 1/4″ ply to the cabin topdeck. Then I cut the 2nd layer out of 1/4″ scraps and cold molded them to the 1st. Tomorrow I will fair it and lay down fiberglass on all the deck surfaces.
