Eider: Centerboard Trunk

November 30, 2011; 9:30 am – 3:30 pm; day 26. Today I built the centerboard trunk, cut the hole for it in the bottom of the hull and laminated two pieces of 3/4″ ply for the centerboard itself. I then disassembled and fiberglassed the inside of the trunk.

I’ve purchased the Eider plans and noticed you offset your centerboard significantly more than the plans indicate. Have you noticed any performance issues?
