Goodbye Island Maid II

Last week the “Island Maid II” was sold to a gentleman from Cape Cod, MA. The Island Maid II has been in our family for 8 years, and during that time she was re-fit and converted to a wonderful cruising passage maker. She not only took me on a wonderful vacation up the inland passage to Alaska and back, but was enjoy by my children and their families along with many of my friends and customers each Spring, Summer and early Fall. She will be missed, but at the same time, she will be enjoyed by a man that can giver her the care that she has had over her last 8 years with me.

If you would like to look at a few photos and read some great stories published on the Island Maid II go to “Past Projects” at the top of the page and click on the Island Maid II.

Lord willing the Maid will have another 65 years of sailing,
