Sunday. Today was another 8 hour day of framing. Tomorrow I’ll try to complete the side decking and begin on framing up the motor well.

Saturday. Yesterday I put in 4 1/2 hours sanding the fairing compound readying it for framing in the flooring. Today I spent 8 hours framing in all longitudinal frames and cross members. Here are a few photos.

Thursday. Today I spent 5 hours knocking off the high spots with 60 grit orbit sander then applying fairing compound to the inter interior of the boat. Tomorrow I will sand it fair then begin the process of competing the build.

Wednesday. Yesterday and today I spent a total of 9 hours filling all the interior seams with epoxy wood filler and fiberglass taping them.

Sunday, I put in 3 hours yesterday and 2 hours today tabbing the boat between each stitch and along the edges of the transom, bulkhead and frame. As you can see at the bow I covered the stitches completely. I will have to use a propane torch to heat one end of each stitch to…

Friday, worked from 9am-1pm. Today I stitched the boat together and fit the transom, aft transom bulkhead and midship form. Tomorrow I’ll start tabbing the seams. Here are a few photos.

Thursday. Today I measured and cut the bow and transom along with the midship form. I also cut out an interior transom bulkhead for added reinforcement. This was not part of the plan. Tomorrow I will begin the process of putting this boat together. I worked from 6:30 am – 1:30 pm.

Wednesday, I lofted and cut the two bottom and two side panels or planks. I worked from 8 am – 4:30 pm.

Monday, I spent 2 hours butt scarfing 8) 4×8 sheets of 1/2″ plywood to make up 4) 4×16 sheets of plywood. 2) for the bottom panels and 2) for the side panels. A butt scarf is simply butting two sheets end to end and attaching them with epoxy and fiberglass. As you can see I…
